about the farm

HAVEN VALLEY

  • It is our goal to create a bio-diverse farm that is a food oasis in northwest Olmsted county. We have engaged a design firm to help us create a permaculture plan for our farm.
  • Planning for Haven Valley Farm began in late 2018. Dianne wanted to start a produce farm and with the support and encouragement of many individuals we began our search and training.
  • Dianne enrolled in the 2019/2020 Farm Beginnings class sponsored by the Land Stewardship Project.
  • Dan Wagner at Coldwell Banker Realty assisted us with our land search and we closed on our land June of 2020. Our grateful thanks goes out to Dan for his patient and knowledgeable support of our goal of finding the right land for us.
  • Suemaya Azadi helps us with all our insurance needs at Farm Bureau. Suemaya has been a big help to navigate the insurance world.
  • Leon Miller owner of Millers Construction has done a great job with the construction of our home.
  • Scott Kunz of Kunz Electric has helped us with all of our power needs and his crew has done excellent work.
